Over the years several organizations were established only to disintegrate soon. The Nepali Muslims seem to be poor in organizing their community for their collective betterment. Millat-e- Islamia Nepal , founded 32 years ago with the objective of propagating the true teaching of Islam and creating awareness about Islamic values in Nepal, is functioning mainly in the capital Kathmandu. It organizes special classes for young people, children and ladies to impart Islamic knowledge to them. It is running the country's biggest Muslim library in Kathmandu.
