  I. Introduction: The Asymmetry of Creation and the Wisdom of the  Sunnah 1.1. The Manifestation of Divine Design in Creation All praise belongs to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, who perfected all things in their creation. Among the signs of His perfect design is the asymmetry evident throughout the universe, down to the very composition of the human being. The phenomenon of hand preference, wherein the vast majority of mankind—approximately ninety percent—favors the right hand, is not a matter of chance. This preference is rooted deeply in the functional architecture of the brain, a specialization known as hemispheric lateralization . This innate physiological reality provides the framework for understanding the profound wisdom embedded within the Prophetic teachings ( Sunnah ).
